Thank you, so much my fellow Americans, we have before us a task that is larger than life itself. We must do our homework for our societies progress and change. We look to the Heavens to counsel us and use good judgments knowing we are one of the worlds strongest economically prosperous country with our Free Market. Let our divide be not great but, great among our citizens. We need to take inventory of our greatness and, replace the smoke and mirrors with dignity and truths. Rhetoric of Relationships: Words on Paper Explained

A closer Look to Rhetoric a blog defined:  Republican,  Democrat, or Independent

According to Socrates:

He asserts that, "Rhetoric is a form of communication; and certain questions repeatedly occur in the study of communication that help to define its nature. Among them are: What is there relationship of the art or discipline called rhetoric to the art or discipline called dialectic, the art of reasoning?"

"A discourse relation (or rhetorical relation) is a description of how two segments of discourse are logically connected to one another. One method of modeling discourse involves a set of concepts that constitute "segmented discourse representation theory" (SDRT)."

Definition of rhetoric. 1 : the art of speaking or writing effectively: such as. a : the study of principles and rules of composition formulated by critics of ancient times. b : the study of writing or speaking as a means of communication or persuasion.

My Rhetorical Purpose:
"A discourse or utterance's rhetorical purpose is the general goal of the discourse or utterance. Some general categories of rhetorical purpose include persuasive, argumentative, informative, and aesthetic purposes. Often, we find that some combination of such terms is necessary when discussing rhetorical purpose."

Finally in the words of In the words of Aristotle, in the Rhetoricrhetoric is "... the faculty of observing in any given case the available means of persuasion." According to Aristotle, this art of persuasion could be used in public settings in three different ways.

As a result, "Rhetoric is not just empty words or fine political speeches. Rhetoric is the study and art of writing and speaking well, being persuasive, and knowing how to compose successful writing and presentations. Rhetoric teaches us the essential skills of advanced learning and higher education."  He also noted, "The Meaning of Rhetorical Communication— Aristotle defined rhetoric as “the faculty (ability) of observing in any given case the available means of persuasion.” In other words, communicators must consider the widest possible variety of materials for inclusion into the message."

Rhetoric Defined: "Rhetoric Definition. Rhetoric is a technique of using language effectively and persuasively in spoken or written form. It is an art of discourse, which studies and employs various methods to convince, influence, or please an audience. ... A situation where you make use of rhetoric is called a “rhetorical situation.”

My blog then is the use of Rhetoric put together to: "Meaning of EthosPathos and Logos. ... Pathos (appeal to emotion) is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response to an impassioned plea or a convincing story. Logos (appeal to logic) is a way of persuading an audience with reason, using facts and figures."

In addition to we find that, "Aristotle's "modes for persuasion" – otherwise known as rhetorical appeals – are known by the names of ethos, pathos, and logos. They are means of persuading others to believe a particular point of view. They are often used in speech writing and advertising to sway the audience."

Now the difference of all three parts of Speech and Rhetorical Appeals: "Ethospathos and logos each have a different meaning: Ethos is an appeal to ethics, and it is a means of convincing someone of the character or credibility of the persuader. Pathos is an appeal to emotion, and is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response."

We look further to, "Pathos (appeal to emotion) is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response to an impassioned plea or a convincing story. Logos(appeal to logic) is a way of persuading an audience with reason, using facts and figures."

In each of my blog posts I use one of the three if not all of them to convey my message across to the reader or subject.  Words then are power and behind them meaning to separate its mere existence from being, doing, seeing, feeling etc.   When we add rhetoric with theory we have power and it a winning ability to persuade our audience to understand, connect, and see our point of view to make a decision on the information they read.

Many people have told me, "JOY, you are a rhetorical genius" , so I wanted to explain it on paper what that means."  Truly then every word matters. Our professor once told us choose each word of your sentence because if you do that you will have more power than your counterpart.  Think Debate one platform question: What is the difference between Republican and Democrat or Independent?

WORDS, attach meaning then if you break it down we then attach ideologies to each word to have it become more favorable.  So then do we divide society with these  terms of political structure or does the political structure define us?  Many relationships crumble if on opposing sides but, I would rather point out that each word is its rhetorical value by the things we attach and associate the word to be with.

For example,

Republican,  we attach the color "RED" - what do we attach with that color, "FIRE", Target, ESPN, ect., Words like Rich, Small Government, Wealth.

Democrat: We attach the color Blue, Oceans, Big Government, Programs ect.

Independent:  The absence of Control, White, Pure, Honest, Options ect.

Now take a look at the speech from Michael Douglas and the words he uses with logos, pathos, and ethos.

American President Example of Logos, Ethos, Pathos

It is with my intent and goal that this blog be that of education and information to a better life.  That each post leaves you wanting more, more, more or what is she going to write about next.  What is she going to say that will change my life?

Finally,  What party do you align with for 2020
